Internet Polyglot is dedicated to helping members learn
foreign languages by providing them a way to memorize words and their
meanings. This helps your memory to grasp more information and retain
it for longer time. Access to all pages is free.
People often use flashcards to remember the information they need. Internet Polyglot
expands on this idea by making the process much more enjoyable: not
only are digital flashcards easier to work with since they are digital,
but games have been created to boost the learning process by making it
much more fun and exciting. In addition, Internet Polyglot
remembers your results, and uses this data to train you with these
words much more intensively than with the words you know well.
Internet Polyglot is designed to help you learn the foreign
language of your choice. You can learn Spanish, French, Chinese, German, Japanese, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Portuguese, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, Latin, Hindi, Polish, Swedish, Romanian, Norwegian, Turkish, Czech, Hungarian, Ukranian, Amharic, Swahili, or
English even if English is your mother tongue and become a true
polyglot. When you create your lessons you specify the languages that
you want for your words and translations. For example, if you learn
Spanish you may want to create lessons with Spanish as the word
language and English as the translation language. When you want to
learn English and your native language is Spanish you will want to
create lessons with English as the word language and Spanish as the
translation language. And when you are a native English speaker but
want to improve your vocabulary, create lessons with English as the
word and translation languages. Learning English is a lifetime process
and one should not neglect it.
One of Diversity Spectrum’s primary responsibilities is to meet the
proficiency, educational and professional needs of the diversity
practitioner community through imparting information and skills to help
members of that community practice competently, professionally and
ethically throughout their careers.
Diversity Spectrum Continuing Diversity Education ("CDE") serves the diversity profession throughout the
world with consistent high-quality CDE offerings which are customised
to meet the particular developmental level of each recipient and be of
the highest quality, timely, practical, and authoritative. In covering various practice areas, we undertake the following:
Advise on best in class diversity management practices
including executive leadership, councils, mentoring, resource groups,
recruitment, retention, training, philanthropy, and community outreach.
Update on benchmark data, competitive analyses, industry news, developments, and trends.
Develop diversity performance improvement strategies for middle management.
Provide up-to-date legal advisories on the state of EEOC, Affirmative Action, and diversity cases.
Review the status of pending and settled lawsuits.
At each of its quarterly Executive Diversity Council meetings, Diversity Spectrum provides its Think Tank Members with 2 credit hours of Management CDE and 1 hour of Global Responsibility CDE. This enables each Member to earn the annual mandatory 8 hours of Management CDE and 4 hours of Global Responsibility CDE, in order to maintain Diversity Spectrum certification as a Certified Diversity Professional ("CDP").
Think Tank Members unable to attend the "live" CDE sessions at Executive Divesity Council meetings, have free access to a portal in the Diversity Spectrum On-Demand Lecture Hall , where they can view or listen to CDE courses, download and review written materials, and participate in discussions with the CDE presenter via email.
Those who are not Think Tank Members may obtain access to the CDE portal to earn CDE credits and annual certification for a modest fee. To enquire about access to the CDE portal or Think Tank Membership, please contact Lynn Gardner Heffron at
